As a master planner, I think in blueprints and phases.
You start with a concept.
You test the numbers.
You adjust for reality.
You phase the build so the whole project doesn’t collapse.
Life works the same way.
There was a time when I had a very clear blueprint for my life, my business, my land, and my legacy. Then zoning issues, lawsuits, money, timing—and my own human mistakes—hit that blueprint hard.
For a long time, I believed happiness meant getting back to the original plan.
Now I understand something different:
Sometimes God doesn’t restore the old blueprint.
Sometimes He sits you down and says,
“I will still honor the promise…but we’re redrawing the picture.”
That feels like a setback, even punishment, at first.
But often, it’s protection and correction.
What looks like a detour is usually a revised master plan.
